Swimming Teachers - The Park Club

Post Title: Swimming Teachers

Location: The Park Club Abingdon

Reporting to: General Manager

GENERAL INFORMATION

SOLL Leisure is a registered charity that manages wet and dry leisure facilities on Oxfordshire. As a not for profit organisation and Charitable Trust all profits are re-invested back into the service.

The Park Club are currently recruiting the following times:-

Saturday 8.00-10.00
Sunday 8.00-10.00

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of all swimming lessons and related water activities, in accordance with Company guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

to deliver a high standard quality teaching service
to maintain the standards of the Swimming brand
to organize, plan, execute and evaluate a structured programme using the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming with the Swimming Co-ordinator
to ensure that an individual report is written for all swimming pupils at the end of each term
to ensure all activities are structured, fun and help promote a caring image for Swimming and the Company
to ensure that all activities are within the Health and Safety criteria
to check that all equipment used is sound, and remove from use any that would pose a safety hazard
to identify suitable pupils for exit routes to performance and excellence pathways
to take opportunities to update and improve technical knowledge through continuing professional development and staff training
to attend staff meetings as and when required
to support any other swimming related activity as deemed necessary to provide a quality development programme
to undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
